Prepared primarily using two sources:

1. Musick’s Hand-Maid (part 2) published by J. Playford (1689).
2. Manuscript of “Welcome to All the Pleasures, Z.339” by Robert Pindar (1765).

The ground ZT 682 is a transcription of parts of the 3rd movement of “Welcome to All the Pleasures”, “Here the Deities Approve,” published in 1689 in Source 1. Source 2 was consulted for the lyrics and vocal line.

The main differences between the two sources are in the ornaments: Source 1 contains many ornament signs and many written out ornaments (mainly appoggiaturas) not present in the vocal original along with a few differences in phrasing.
